What to expect at Apple’s September 9 event

Industry reports suggest a foldable device, widely referred to as the iPhone Ultra, could be the headline product. TechCrunch reported that Apple is also expected to introduce the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, while the standard iPhone 18 may arrive later.

The event is particularly significant because it will be the first major product presentation under chief executive John Ternus, who succeeded Tim Cook earlier this month. Apple would be entering the foldable market years after rivals including Samsung, Google, and Motorola, giving it an opportunity to test whether its arrival can push the category further into the mainstream.
