Nine-year-old found dead in Cumilla

Police recovered the throat-slit body of a child from Sadar South upazila of Cumilla today.

The nine-year-old boy went missing for the last three days.

The victim was Md Rifat Hossain, son of Md Rashid of Chandipur village of Barura police station, said police.

Md Rafiqul Islam, officer-in-charge of Sadar South Police Station, said the boy had been missing since Saturday. The family later lodged a general diary with the Barura Police Station.

This morning, being informed by locals, police recovered the body from the Chandimura hills of the Sadar South upazila.
