5 killed after bus hits auto-rickshaw in Chattogram

Five people were killed in a head-on collision between a bus and a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Chattogram's Boalkhali upazila this morning.

The deceased could not be identified immediately, reports our local correspondent quoting Abdur Razzak, Boalkhali Police Station officer-in-charge.

"A CNG-run auto-rickshaw carrying four passengers collided head on with a bus coming from the opposite direction around 9:30am at Raikhali area of the upazila. Four people died on the spot. Another person died after being taken to a hospital," the OC said.

"We are at the spot right now," the OC added.
