Foreign fabrics seized
Bangladesh Coast Guard seized around 1216 metres illegal foreign jeans fabrics worth around Tk 5.32 lakh from Tin Khaler Mukh area in Chittagong city early yesterday.
Acting on tip-off, a team of the coast guard (East Zone) conducted a drive at an abandoned store in the area near Diamond Cement Factory around 2:00am, said a press release.
Nobody was arrested in this connection, it said.
