Foreign liquor, drugs seized in Ctg
Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) members seized foreign liquor, cannabis and Phensedyl worth about Tk 1.25 lakh in the port city yesterday.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of Rab-7 conducted a drive in no17 Jetty Gate area of Patenga and seized 20 bottles of foreign wine and 38 cans of foreign beer worth about Tk 45 thousand, said a press release.
In another drive, Rab-7 personnel seized 10kg cannabis and 50 bottles of phensedyl worth about Tk 80 thousand inside a bush near a house in New Mansurabad area of Pahartali.
