Schoolboy murdered
Some unidentified criminals killed a schoolboy by cutting his throat at Aruapara in the town on Thursday night.
The dead Irfan ahmed alias Saim, 14, son of Zillur Rahman, was a class IX student of Kushtia High School.
Police said a gang of four to five miscreants stormed into Sanim's bedroom at about 10:30pm.
Hearing screams of Sanim, his father Zillur Rahman got up and rushed to his room and found him in bloody state.
A team of the sadar police station rushed to the spot and sent the body to Kushtia General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
