Body found in city
The body of an unidentified teenage girl was recovered from a ditch at Damalkot in the city's Kafrul on Wednesday.
The girl was wearing salwar kameez, said Kafrul police.
Local people found the body floating in the ditch around 11:30am on Wednesday and informed the police.
Police said the body was decomposed beyond recognition and they could not ascertain whether there was any mark of injury on the body.
Police suspect that the girl died probably by drowning a few days ago.
