Train coach catches fire: 10 hurt
Ten passengers were injured when an air-conditioned coach of a mail train caught fire on Dhaka-Chittagong route at Bhatshal early yesterday.
Local sources said the compartment of the train suddenly caught fire at about 4:00am. Sensing the fire, the driver stopped the train instantly.
However, the passengers scrambled to get down from the train being panicked, leaving ten of them injured.
Firefighters from Brahmanbaria town rushed in and doused the blaze.
