Attack on USTC student protested
Students of eight private universities and some colleges formed a human chain before Chittagong Press Club in the city yesterday demanding arrest of the attackers of a student of University of Science and Technology Chittagong (USTC).
The victim, Mohiuddin Manju, doing his Masters in Business Administration, was attacked by some miscreants on USTC campus on March 4, said the protesters.
The protestors under the banner “Sommilita Chhattra-Chhattri Oikya Parishad” declared to stage a token hunger strike before Chittagong District Court Building from 9:30am today.
