15 bombs recovered in Meherpur
Members of the Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) recovered 15 bombs from a village in Gangni upazila of Meherpur district on Sunday night.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of Rab-6 led by Gangni camp commander Sheikh Zahidul Islam cordoned off a filed at Mailemari village at around 10:00pm where some cadres of an outlawed party were holding a meeting.
Sensing the presence of the law enforcers, the outlaws managed to flee. Later, the elite force found 15 bombs lying on the spot. They recovered the bombs and took them to their camp.
