Youth stabbed to death in Mymensingh
A youth was stabbed to death by unidentified criminals in Trishal bus stand area in the town on Saturday night.
The victim, Apu Ahmed, 20, was son of Aftab Uddin Ahmed of Saroda Gosh Road area of the town.
Police said Apu went out of his residence at around 10:30 pm to buy medicine. When he reached the bus stand area, a gang of unidentified criminals stabbed him, leaving him critically injured.
Being informed, Kotwali police rushed to the spot and took him to Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital (MMCH) where on-duty doctors declared him dead, police said.
The body was sent to the hospital morgue for autopsy.
