Outlaw killed by party rivals in Khulna
Police recovered the body of an outlawed party leader from the bank of a water body in Dumuria upazila here on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Adhir Mondol, son of Panchanon Mondol of Pabla village in the upazila.
Locals found the body on the bank of Khoria beel at noon and informed the police. Police went to the spot, recovered the body and sent it to Khulna Medical College and Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Police suspected that Adhir might have been killed by rivals over internal conflict. Police said he was wanted in a number of cases.
