The injured are traffic sergeant Rafiqul Islam, constables Shumon Howlader, Joydev Roy, Md Shariful Islam, Md Mamun Hossain and Mehedi Hasan. They are undergoing treatment at Khulna Police Hospital. The incident occurred at around 8:00pm when sergeant Rafiq and five police constables seized a motorcycle for plying the road at Daulatpur without licence.
