Rohingyas pushed back

Thirty-two Rohingyas, who entered Bangladesh from Myanmar through different border points in Lama upazila of Bandarban district early yesterday and on Sunday, were pushed back. Acting on a tip-off, police raided Sarai, Amtali and Rupashipara in the upazila yesterday morning and arrested 18 Rohingyas. On Sunday evening, police raided different areas of the upazila and arrested 14 Myanmar nationals for their illegal entry into Bangladesh. The arrested Ronhingyas were pushed back to Myanmar with the help of Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) personnel yesterday evening. They hail from Mongdu and Buchidong areas of Arakan province.
