Youths held for teasing
Two youths were arrested on charge of teasing girls in Lalmonirhat and Comilla yesterday and the day before.
The arrestees are Rashidur Rahman Rashed, 22, son of Mahfuzur Rahman of Khochabari Masterpara under Lalmonirhat Municipality, and Yasin of sripur village under Chouddagram upazila of Comilla district.
In Lalmonirhat, teachers and students of Adarsha College at Noyarhat in Sadar upazila caught Rashed while he was teasing a female student on the campus yesterday. He was later handed over to police, according to a correspondent.
College Principal Mahbubul Alam Mithu filed a written complaint against Rashed with Lalmonirhat Sadar Police Station.
Chouddagram Police arrested Yasin while he along with some youths was teasing girls in front of upazila health complex Sunday morning, reports UNB.
Health complex sources said Yasin and some youths of the area started teasing young girls and housewives when they came to the upazila health complex to take swine flu vaccine.
Being informed, police went to the spot and arrested Yasin while his accomplices managed to flee.
