Criminals kill college student
Criminals killed a student of philosophy department of Rangpur Carmichael College on Monday.
Locals said, the gang stabbed Shafiqul Islam indiscriminately with sharp weapons as he resisted them from cutting bamboos from a bush owned by his father Motiar Rahman at Kaprikhal under Gangachhara upazila.
Police said they identified two people of the same village who might have stabbed Shafiqul.
Shafiqul was rushed to Rangpur Medical College and Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Shafiqul's father lodged a case with Gangachhara police station against two neighbours Jamal and Kamal in this connection.
