10 hurt as BNP, Jubo League activists clash
Ten people were injured as BNP and Jubo League activists locked in a clash over a trifling matter at Kolapara in Srinagar upazila yesterday morning.
Police and locals said BNP activists were going to Kolapara union parishad building premise in a procession to accord a reception to UP chairman and Srinagar BNP leader Monin Ali.
On the way, a processionist collided with local Jubo League activist Liton at Kolapara Bazaar,triggering an altercation.
As the news spread more Jubo League activists from neighbouring villages rushed to the spot and engaged in a fierce clash with BNP processionists.
