AL-BNP clash
At least 17 people were injured in a bloody clash between the activists of Awami League and BNP at Chikondi in Sadar upazila at noon yesterday.
District BNP joint secretary Helal Uddin Akand and nine others were admitted to Sadar hospital with serious injuries.
Villagers said, the clash took place over establishing supremacy in the area.
