10 missing as trawler capsizes
Ten people went missing as a trawler capsized in the Padma at Mangalmajhi ghat in Jajira upazila of the district yesterday morning.
Sources said a Shariatpur-bound trawler from Mawa with about 100 passengers on board sank in the river at around 9:00am due to strong current.
Ten people went missing while the rest managed to swim ashore.
