6 judge's posts vacant in Noakhali
At least 3,108 civil and criminal cases are pending with Noakhali district Judges Court, as posts of six Judges still remain vacant.
Public Prosecutor of the district judges court ATM Mohib Ullah said the post of Additional District and Session's Judge First Court fell vacant on October 16, 2008, a post of additional chief judicial Magistrate has been vacant since October 22, 2009, a post of Special Judge from February 18 this year, Judicial Magistrate since May 10, 2010, a post of Senbagh Upazila Assistant Judge from June 10 and Women and Children Repression Tribunal since July 21 this year.
At least 214 civil and 246 criminal cases are pending with Additional District and Session Judge First Court, 116 civil and 262 criminal cases with Special Judge Court, 913 civil cases with Senbagh Upazila Assistant Judge Court, 39 civil and 969 criminal cases with Women and Children Repression Tribunal and 349 cases with Chief Judicial Magistrate are also pending for trial.
