One killed in Kushtia clash
One person was killed and 10 others were injured in a clash between two groups of villagers at Fakirabad in Bheramara upazila on Wednesday night.
The dead was identified as Rajab Ali, 40, of the village. According to police, Rajab Ali had land dispute with one Faruq of the same village for long.
On Wednesday evening, a group of Faruq's musclemen attacked the house of Rajab.
Hearing the news, men of Rajab rushed to the spot and locked in a clash leaving at least 10 people from both groups injured.
Police said muscleman Anwar chopped Rajab who later died on the way to Kushtia General Hospital at about 7:30pm.
