Smuggled formalin seized
Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) members yesterday seized 233 bottles of smuggled Indian formalin from Halidagachhi in Charghat upazila and arrested one Wasim Hossain of Jaygirpara in this connection. Rab sources said Wasim brought formalin bottles from India for selling those among the mango traders. Wasim confessed to Rab that the formalin is also used on fishes and vegetables like brinjal.
