Villagers kill fishing cat
Villagers beat a fishing cat dead at Chakdhubail under Mirpur upazila in Kushtia on Monday.
Farmer Azizul of the village said he saw the cat on his field at about 12:30 pm. He called other villagers through his mobile phone and encircled the field along with sticks and iron rods.
They later caught the animal and killed it on the spot.
