Death from snakebite
A housewife at village Joydeb Manoshpara under Gangachara upazila in the district died from snakebite at Rangpur Medical College and Hospital (RMCH) Friday evening, police said. The victim was identified as Aduri Begum, 25, wife of Kamal Hossain of the village. A cobra bit her on Friday afternoon while she was closing the door of the chicken cage. She was rushed to the hospital where she succumbed in the evening. An unnatural death case was registered in this connection with Kotwali police station.
