Rajshahi Board's dazzling results

Rajshahi Education Board has achieved 85.61 percent success rate this time, the highest in the last 48 years. The pass percentage of the board is also the highest among the all education boards. A total of 10,568 students have scored GPA-5. Of them 6,246 are boys and 4,320 girls. The pass percentage for boys was 85.62 while for girls it was 85.60. Pass percentage for science group students was 90.36, for commerce group 87.49 and for humanities group it was 82.93. This is for the first time that there is no school under the Rajshahi Board where none passed the examination. The number of schools whose 100 percent examinees have passed is also more than that of the previous year's. Chairman of Rajshahi Board Dipakendra Nath Das said sincerity of the teachers as well as students and guardians was behind the highest success rate. He said he spoke with the teachers to know the problems and gave guidelines. Headmistress of Rajshahi Government Girls High School Touhida Ara said the students are now more attentive to classes and studies. Teachers also take more care of students.
