'Intensify land commission's campaign in CHT'
Chairman of Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) Land Dispute Resolution Commission (CHTLDRC) Justice Khademul Islam Chowdhury yesterday asked government officials to gear up the ongoing campaign to make the affected people aware of the commission's task.
"We want to come closer to the affected people through the campaign and resolve their land disputes," the commission chief said while addressing a meeting in the conference room of Rangamati District Sports Association.
He again stressed the need for land survey in the three hill districts and urged the government to complete the survey as early as possible.
The land commission and the district administration also brought out a joint procession in the town, urging the land dispute victims to submit their applications to the commission.
