Fake cosmetics factory
A joint team of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) and local administration unearthed a fake cosmetics factory at Nungola under Rahanpur municipal area of Gomostapur upazila in Chapainawabganj yesterday. During a raid the team seized 1.5 tonnes of different types of cosmetics and raw materials from Panna Chemical Works. Later they destroyed those and fined Mohammad Ali, owner of Panna Chemical Works Tk 35,000. BSTI also lodged a case against Mohammad Ali with Gomostapur police station.
