Barapukuria agitation postponed
Villagers affected by land subsidence around Barapukuria Coalmine have postponed their fresh agitation programme, scheduled to begin last Monday, until April 30 following an assurance given by the authorities concerned to meet their demand for additional compensation.
The affected people of 15 villages had earlier announced the agitation programme to realise three-point demand including compensation and their rehabilitation.
