Robbery at expat's house
Robbers looted cash and gold ornaments from an expatriate's house at Dighirpar in Muradnagar upazila here early yesterday. Police quoting locals said a gang numbering 20-30 stormed into the house of USA expatriate Abdul Momen,52, around midnight and looted 25 tolas gold and Tk 1.25 lakh in cash, after tying him up. Police arrested Hanif, son of Chan Mia of the same village in this connection.
