BAU teachers' fresh ultimatum
Teachers of Bangladesh Agriculture University (BAU) yesterday issued a fresh ultimatum to arrest the culprits involved in March 17 attack on a proctor, students and employees of the university by March 28. Otherwise, they threatened to launch a fresh agitation programme on March 29. A group of outsiders attacked Assistant Proctor Prof Alamgir Hossain, students and employees on the night of March 17 as they opposed a programme organised by the outsiders, marking the birth anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on the campus without prior permission of the university authorities.
