11 Indians held for intrusion
BDR arrested eleven people for intruding into Bangladesh from India through the porous border of Satkhira on Wednesday.
They were identified as Shameem Ghorami, Sagor Roy, Bidhan Shah, Kalipada Shah, Ashutosh Samazder, Ashutosh Halder, Paban Ghorami, Poly Ghosh, Dipali Mandal, Rehana Begum, Chhabiran Bibi and Sarowar Hossain.
The arrestees claimed that they are Bangladeshi nationals and hail from Bagerhat, Pirojpur and Gopalganj districts. They went to India four months ago without valid document in search of better employment.
