Body recovered
Police recovered the body of a young man from a pond in Fatulla here on Saturday, six days after his missing. The deceased was identified as Swapan Sarker, 35, son of Amulya Sarker of Rambabur Pukurpar area of the district town. Family sources said Swapan went out of his house on February 28 and since then he remained missing. Locals found the floating body on the pond in BSCIC industrial estate at Panchabti and informed the police. Later, police recovered the body and sent it to hospital morgue for autopsy.
