Five more die of dengue, 387 hospitalised in a day

At least five dengue patients died while 387 others were hospitalised in 24 hours till 8:00am today.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), among the deaths, two each were reported from Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) and Barishal division areas, while one from Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC).

With the new deaths and cases, the total number of dengue-related deaths this year rose to 409, while the total number of cases rose to 1,00,477.

Currently, 1,339 dengue patients are undergoing treatment at different hospitals across the country.
