Dengue deaths cross 400-mark this year

At least three dengue patients died while 421 were hospitalised in 24 hours till 8:00 am today.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), among the deaths, two were reported from Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) and one from Barishal division.

With the new deaths and cases, the total number of dengue-related deaths this year rose to 401, while the total number of cases rose to 98,705.

Currently, 1,544 dengue patients are undergoing treatment at different hospitals across the country.
