Covid-19 vaccine: Registrations through Surokkha app reaches 2 crore mark

The number of people registering for Covid-19 vaccination through the Surokkha app in Bangladesh reached the two-crore mark tonight.

ASM Hosne Mubarak, programmer of ICT division, confirmed to The Daily Star that a total of two crore people registered for Covid-19 vaccine through the app.

He said currently around one lakh people are registeringfor the vaccine through Surokkha every hour.

The country resumed the vaccine registration process from July 8.
