Pfizer jabs for 12-17yr olds as WHO gave approval: Health Minister

The director general of World Health Organization has agreed on Pfizer jabs for 12-17 year olds, Health Minister Zahid Maleque said today.

"Already 60 lakh Pfizer vaccine doses are in stock and another 70 lakh will come soon," he said during a press briefing on Covid-19 vaccine at the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS) today.

"The vaccine will be given through registration," the minister added.
