Moderna for booster dose instead of Pfizer: DGHS

Government has decided to use the Covid-19 vaccine of Moderna as booster dose instead of Pfizer jabs.

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) yesterday issued a notice in this regard, asking everyone involved with the government's vaccination drive to comply with the directive.

Doses of Pfizer vaccine will be reserved for students, aged 12-17 years, and others who have received the Pfizer vaccine as first dose, reads the notice.
