Covid-19: No death, 50 cases recorded in 24 hours
No Covid-19 death was reported in 24 hours till 8am today, said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The total number of Covid-19 deaths in the country remains 29,126 and the death rate is 1.49 percent.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. At least 50 new infections from Covid-19 were recorded in the 24 hours. The total number of cases rose to 19,52,412 added the release.
The current positivity rate is 0.90 percent while the total positivity rate stands at 14.01 percent, said the press release.
A total of 5,545 samples were tested across the country during this period.
At least 331 patients recovered from Covid-19 during the period. The total number of recoveries now stands at 18,91,528 and the recovery rate at 96.88 percent, added the release.
