13 Covid-19 deaths in 24 hours, current positivity rate 2.11%

At least 368 new infections were recorded and 13 people died from Covid-19 in 24 hours till 8:00 am today, said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The current positivity rate is 2.11 percent while the total positivity rate stands at 14.41 percent.

The total number of Covid-19 deaths in the country now stands at 29,077 and the mortality rate stands at 1.49 percent. Meanwhile, the total number of cases rose to 19,46,737, added the release.

A total of 17,463 samples were tested across the country in the 24 hours.

At least 4,018 patients have recovered from Covid-19 during the period. The total number of recoveries now stands at 18,39,998 and the recovery rate at 94.52 percent, added the release.

Of the 13 deceased, seven were male and six were female.

Of them, one was between 31-40, five were between 51-60 and seven were above 60 years old, added the release.
