Load-shedding will reduce from this month: Nasrul Hamid
State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid has said that load-shedding will be reduced from this month.
He said this at a press conference held at the Secretariat around noon today (November 3, 2022).
While replying to a query, he said, "We have to be optimistic. The situation is still not out of control, it is under our control. We're saving something, and that's the big deal. We are saving electricity and gas, but we are not denying that everyone is suffering. We have to understand that every country is doubtful of what will happen next. Our country is not outside!"
"We have in mind what we will do from March. I'm planning that. I don't think there will be any problem next December, January and February," he said.
"We're going to be in a better position gradually. I'm not saying that the situation will completely become fine," he added.
He also said that the situation would be better than before in the case of electricity.
