Vijay Sethupathi confirms new film with Mani Ratnam

Tamil star Vijay Sethupathi has confirmed that he will be collaborating with veteran filmmaker Mani Ratnam on a new film, ending months of speculation about the project.
The upcoming film will mark a reunion between the actor and the director after their 2018 film “Chekka Chivantha Vaanam”.
Sethupathi confirmed the collaboration during an interview with The Hindu while discussing his upcoming projects, including the JioHotstar series “Kaattaan”. Speaking about his current line-up, the actor said he is excited about several projects he is working on.
Reflecting on his choices, Sethupathi said, “My stories and my directors are why work blossoms beautifully.”
