‘Cactus’ set to premiere on Chorki this Wednesday
Chorki original series “Cactus” is all set to entertain audiences this Wednesday, March 18, bringing a high-octane spy thriller starring Pritom Hasan and Mehazabien Chowdhury to streaming screens.
The official trailer of the series was released on March 13 at 2 PM, giving viewers a glimpse of the action-packed drama. Fans will be able to watch the series starting at midnight on March 17 (March 18).

While Mansib is initially seen as a prisoner, a national crisis forces him to re-enter the hacking world with the government’s support.
Pritom Hasan revealed that Mansib’s character follows a compelling journey, one that will keep audiences hooked to see where it ultimately leads. Meanwhile, Mehazabien Chowdhury takes on the role of Anura, appearing in a completely new avatar—strong, confident, and action-ready. The trailer also hints at a hidden mystery within her character. Speaking about her role, Mehazabien said, “My character in this series is very interesting. I haven’t done action at this level before."
The series is directed by acclaimed filmmaker Shihab Shaheen, who envisioned “Cactus” as the foundation of his own spy universe. Shaheen stated, “‘Cactus’ is going to be a project of global standards, and we have envisioned its story on a much larger scale.”
The story of “Cactus” was penned by Shihab Shaheen, Al-Amin Hasan Nirjhar, Ador Rahman, Asaduzzaman Abir, and Rezwan Kabir, with Shaheen also serving as the screenwriter. The ensemble cast includes Munira Yusuf Memi, Manas Bandyopadhyay, Naziba Basher, Salauddin Lavlu, Shahadat Hossain, Arifin Jilani, Zahidul Haque Apu, and Sanzida Tasnim. Action sequences have been coordinated by Edward Gomez, adding intensity to the thrilling spy narrative.
