Bangladeshi superstar Shakib Khan is filming his upcoming Eid release, “Prince: Once Upon a Time in Dhaka”, in Kolkata after completing a schedule in Sri Lanka. The production has been spotted across Alipur Jail, Howrah, and Boubazar, drawing local attention.

On location, Khan was seen riding a bike through Boubazar, with a red-tinged hairstyle, a trimmed beard, and a floral shirt under an open denim jacket. Passersby paused as cameras followed the actor through city streets.

The ensemble cast includes Tasnia Farin, Jyotirmoyee Kundu, Loknath Dey, Paean Sarkar, and Mrityunjoy Bhattacharya, blending Indian and Bangladeshi talent. Directed by Abu Hayat Mahmud, filming in Kolkata began in the second week of February, with the team scheduled to move to Hyderabad next.

Key action sequences were shot at a long-abandoned factory in Howrah, starting February 9. Khan reportedly portrays a character inspired by 1990s Bangladeshi underworld figure “Kala Jahangir,” tracing a man’s transformation from a virtuous citizen into a notorious gangster.

On February 11, the crew filmed at Madhob Bhavan in central Boubazar. The weathered pale yellow building served as the backdrop for a bike stunt that drew a small crowd. Loknath Dey, who previously appeared alongside Khan in “Toofan”, plays the protagonist’s right-hand man.
