Redoan Rony’s directorial “Domm” has received a ‘U’ (Universal) certificate, meaning it is suitable for general audiences of all ages.

According to a press note, among the films slated for release this Eid, “Domm” has become the first to receive a censor certificate.
The Bangladesh Film Certification Board granted the much-anticipated Eid-ul-Fitr release “Domm” a clearance certificate without any cuts, this afternoon. Produced by SVF Alpha-i Entertainment Limited and Chorki, the film has sparked curiosity among audiences since its announcement.

In particular, the return of director Redoan Rony to the big screen after ten years, along with the first-ever on-screen collaboration between two actors, Afran Nisho and Chanchal Chowdhury, has generated considerable excitement among viewers.

Recently, the film’s official poster and first-look teaser were released, drawing widespread praise on social media.
One of the film’s special highlights is the involvement of legendary Bangla singer Sabina Yasmin. After 44 years, she has re-recorded her timeless song “Ei Mon Tomake Dilam” with a new musical arrangement as a playback track for “Domm”.

Alongside Nisho and Chanchal, the film also stars Puja Chery and Dolly Zahur. The screenplay has been written by Redoan Rony, Rabiyul Alam Robi, Syed Ahmed Shawki, Al-Amin Hasan Nirjhor, and Md Saifullah Riyad.
