Bubly to make singing debut on ‘Ityadi’
The long-running television programme “Ityadi” has become a cherished Eid tradition in Bangladesh. Each edition of the show is known for its creative concepts and distinctive performances, brought to life through the imaginative presentation and careful planning of its host and creator, Hanif Sanket.
This Eid, the programme is set to present something different once again. Actress Shobnom Bubly will appear as a singer, performing alongside popular contemporary musician Imran Mahmudul.
Although Bubly is not a professional singer, she has performed the song impressively alongside Imran. Best known for her acting career, this will mark Bubly’s first time singing on television.
The lyrics of the song has been penned by Kabir Bakul, while the composition and music were arranged by Imran Mahmudul.
In recent years, “Ityadi” has introduced several non-professional singers to audiences by featuring them in musical performances. Television actress Tasnia Farin previously performed a song on the programme with singer Tahsan Khan, receiving widespread appreciation.
Similarly, film actor Siam Ahmed and television actress Jannatul Sumaiya Heme also impressed viewers by singing on the show for the first time.
Over the years, many well-known figures have taken part in similar musical segments on the programme, including Ilias Kanchan, Parveen Sultana Diti, Moushumi, Tania Ahmed, Nobel, Ishita, Tarin and Aupee Karim, among others.
Following this tradition, Bubly and Imran will now take the stage together.
The music video for the song was filmed on January 24 on a grand outdoor set built for “Ityadi” at the Bangladesh‑China Friendship Conference Centre in Dhaka.
According to Fagun Audio Vision, the combination of the song’s production style, the location, the melodious voices of Imran and Bubly, and the enthusiastic response of the live audience is expected to make the performance another audience favourite.
