‘Aly Zaker Sanman Padak’ to be conferred on November 12

Commemorating eminent thespian and cultural activist Aly Zaker, the 'Aly Zaker Sanman Padak' will be given on November 12, at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy at 6.30 pm.

Initiated by Agontuk Repertory, a programme will be arranged, including a full-fledged cultural performance including music, dance, and elocution, reminiscing the late maestro.

"Aly Zaker's contribution towards the cultural arena is priceless. This is a tribute to him, to keep him alive in between us", said Shatabdi Wadud, member of Agontuk Repertory and National Film Award winner, to The Daily Star.

Aly Zaker passed away on November 27, 2020. He achieved the Ekushey Padak, Munir Chowdhury Padak, Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy award, among many others.
