Abul Hayat stars in new drama exploring family conflict
Family, property and inheritance, along with the inevitable end of human life, form the central themes of the drama “Sare Tin Hat Mati”, written and directed by Mohin Khan.
Actor Abul Hayat plays the central character in the drama, which is now available on the Choice View Media YouTube channel.
The story revolves around a middle-class family. Following the death of his first wife, Abul Hayat's character marries again. Conflict subsequently develops between the children of his two marriages over the division of property and living space.
However, beyond the material calculations surrounding family and property, the drama focuses on the idea that a person's final destination is ultimately only “three and a half hands of earth” — the amount of land traditionally associated with a grave.
Speaking about his role, Abul Hayat said, “‘Sare Tin Hat Mati’ is the central idea of the drama. I also personally liked the story very much.”
Director Mohin Khan said audiences have been responding positively to the drama.
Alongside Abul Hayat, the cast includes Tuhin Chowdhury, Sumaiya Arpa, Seljuk Tarique, Muhit Tamal, Nishat Moni, Siddiq Master and Aklima Liza, among others.
Md Sujon handled cinematography, while Sahriar Rafat composed the background music.
