Eid to be celebrated with a wave of new music releases

Eid festivities this year will be accompanied by a wide array of new song releases from both established and emerging artistes, with tracks being launched across production houses and artistes’ own YouTube channels.

Among the notable releases is “Faki” by Ferdous Wahid, featuring vocals by Khandaker Bappy. Written by Tareq Ananda and composed by Mehedi Bapon, the song was released on March 15.

Asif Akbar is set to release his new track “Bhul” under the Soundtek banner, with lyrics by Faisal Rabbikin and composition by Rezwan Sheikh.

From West Bengal, Nachiketa Chakraborty lends his voice to “Bhalo Theko”, composed by Belal Khan and written by Kabir Bakul. The music video will be released on Soundtek’s YouTube channel.

Singer Nancy returns with her solo track “Dure Giye”, written by Raju Chowdhury and composed by Ehsan Rahi.

Salma has recorded more than a dozen songs for Eid, with several already released, including “Mayer Shutay” and “Emon Bhalobasha Chai Na”.

A festive track titled “Eid Esheche” features vocals by Akassh Sen and Dilshad Nahar Kona, capturing the spirit of the occasion.

Kishore Das’s new song “Ami Kemon Tumi Jano” will be released under the Gaanchill label, while the same platform is also set to release a new track by Minar Rahman.

A musical film titled “Premer Golpo” will feature Ziaul Roshan and Rukaiya Jahan Chamak, with vocals by Kona and Sheikh Limon.

Duet track “Kan Pete Shon” marks the first collaboration between Mohammad Milon and Marzia Bushra Rodela, while Sanzida Rimi teams up with Milon for the romantic number “Taxi Bhara”.

After a seven-year hiatus, Ulka Hossain returns with “Khopay Joba Ful”, composed by Shafiq Tuhin.

Singer-actor Parsha Mahjabeen will also release a new song this Eid alongside Imran Mahmudul, marking their first collaboration.

Meanwhile, Pantha Kanai is set to release a new version of the classic “Chumki Choleche Eka Pothe”, titled “Abar Chumki”, with a music video directed by Taneem Rahman Angshu.

With such a diverse lineup, this Eid is expected to be a vibrant season for music lovers across Bangladesh.
