"The Family Man" Season 4 in the works with continuation of Srikanth's story
Fans of "The Family Man" have received a major update, with the creators confirming that a fourth season of the hit spy thriller is officially in development.
Speaking to Variety India, creator Raj Nidimoru revealed that work on Season 4 is already underway, with the writing progressing rapidly. While an official release date has not been announced, the new season will stream on Amazon Prime Video, continuing the story of Manoj Bajpayee's fan-favourite character, Srikanth Tiwari.
Raj also explained that Seasons 3 and 4 were always conceived as one continuous narrative rather than two separate stories. According to him, although many viewers felt Season 3 ended on an abrupt note, the creators believed its central plot had reached a natural conclusion.
"The only unfinished thread was Srikanth Tiwari's personal journey, which was always meant to carry into the next season," Raj said, adding that the team is working intensively to complete the next chapter.
Season 3 shifted the action to Northeast India, moving beyond the terrorism-focused storylines of the previous instalments. The season revolved around political tensions linked to Project Sahakar, while Jaideep Ahlawat's character Rukma emerged as the principal antagonist. The finale also surprised viewers with a crossover featuring Vijay Sethupathi's character from "Farzi", further expanding the shared universe created by Raj & DK.
The confirmation has reassured fans who were left with unanswered questions following the Season 3 finale. While Prime Video has yet to announce a premiere date, the creators' latest update suggests that Srikanth Tiwari's journey is far from over.
