Shakib Khan set to resume shooting after US trip
Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan is set to return to the sets after spending nearly two months in the United States.
The actor returned to Dhaka on September 1 and has already begun preparing to resume work in films. He is expected to join the shooting of “Soldier” from next week to complete the remaining portions of the film.
Once “Soldier” wraps, Shakib will move on to his next project, “Nissho”, directed by Mehedi Hassan Hridoy. The actor had signed the film before leaving for the United States, with Kolkata actress Idhika Paul set to star opposite him.
Speaking about his return, Shakib said his primary focus is now on his upcoming film projects.
“I’m back in the country, and my main focus is now on film work. There are several important projects ahead, and I want to keep working on good films one after another,” he said.
The actor added that he has always tried to give audiences quality work and pays close attention to a film’s story, characters and overall execution.
“I believe those elements should leave their mark on my upcoming projects as well,” he said.
Shakib left Dhaka for the United States on July 2, where he spent nearly two months attending to personal and business commitments before returning to Bangladesh.
